Article Writing & Inspiration
Welcome back!
I’m the furthest thing from a self-proclaimed writer. It either flows naturally for you with your keyboard or it doesn’t.
If you’re anything like me, whether you want to express yourself with your blog or website, or create articles to promote them, there are avenues you can take for help — ghost writers or editors.
I strongly oppose the concept of purchasing articles that you simply paste your own information into, and there are plenty of sites abound that offer them. This creates duplicate content en mass, and most of us know that Google penalizes for duplicate content. Changing a few words here and there using bulk articles will do you more harm than good.
There are some very good article writers that can help you to convert a ‘yawwwwn’ article to something that will interest readers. If you have a concept or topic in mind, with a little direction, a ghost writer can create something smashing for you, or even edit one of your own articles.
One of those writers is Matt Keegan. He’s written a plethora of articles and press releases — his own, and many for others. Do a search for his name and you’ll find him all over the net.
Matt has a number of blogs. His Article Writer blog has many useful tips for writing and blogs, and a ‘relaxed’ one for Matt’s Musings. His interests also extend to aviation, for which he has a blog for news, views, and stuff for private jet flight attendants at The Corporate Flyer, and Jet Employment for airline, airport, and business aviation opportunities. If you’re into autos (and what man isn’t?), his blog Auto Phat is all about cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs with extensive information provided covering car parts, car accessories, new models, bling bling, etc., and The Auto Writer for automotive news, views, and fun stuff.
Matt has been a great inspiration, mentor and support for me, and an all around great guy! You won’t need to look any further than him for a remarkable writer.
If you need inspiration for topics to write on, sit down and make a list of your passions and interests. This is a good start for topics to write about. If you don’t have passion for what you write it will come through in your posts and articles, as well as bore your readers.
Do a search on the net with what you’ve come up with from your list. You’ll find plenty of inspiration there. But please don’t copy what others have written — no one likes a copy cat, and you may even suffer copyright infringement penalties. Take something from what you’ve stumbled upon and write on an issue that the author hasn’t touched on.
Now go on and procreate! Er, I should say create.
