Honestly, the seal hunt is DISGUSTING.
I am studying it for my eighth grade history
report and have seen and read many things about it that ashame me of being Canadian.

Not to mock my spectacular nation, but with the seal hunt in Canada, does anyone ele agree that our rep as a nice kind and caring country just went down the drain?

The seals shown here, amongst those that are shown in every other website in every other country in the world are the same. Beautiful, innocent creatures who do nothing to get in our way, really. Sure they eat cod, but I am vegetarian and don’t eat fish anyways, so I wouldn’t be affected if the seals ate the cod that would otherwise be meant for humans.

Does anyone else think that people they know would give up one food to save 1000’s of lives?

I think so, and I’m just a kid.
But age has nothing to comprimise what I can do.

I encourage EVERYONE to go out and raise money, do research and educate others on this horrific event.

This is just one of many senseless crimes that men commit against nature in an attempt to compensate for having a small penis. I and everyone I know BOYCOTTED THE CANADIAN OLYMPICS AND ANY CANADIAN SEAFOOD!! We all continue to spread the word! Only greedy uneducated HICKS still think this business is OK. Don’t keep fooling yourselves, it’s just a matter of time until you’re out of business. The world is watching and you will pay for your arrogance!

This is ridiculous, do people honestly believe themselves when they say it’s not humane. First off a government knows better than a bunch of loons on a website, If it were a simple decision, people in here would be in parliment, not them, secondly, as I have already read but will re advise, that COWS, CHICKENS, PIGS ETC. are all murdered but since they are so delicious it is okay, and since the americans do it, it’s a little more okay, the reality of it all is, the Canadian government isn’t stupid, especially not as stupid as the American one, that’s for sure, The hunts are as humane as needed by any countries standards and maybe if some of you, not all, but some were more educated and didn’t just think the damn things were so “Gosh darn Cute” this wouldn’t be an issue, maybe if the states started seal hunting for money it would be okay, because it could be the “American Way”, I had to get my word in because quite frankly you people are hilarious, especially since you waste your time protesting something that’s not going to change, and maybe if you all realised by not killing them the world would only deteriorate quicker than it already is, that’s why we have things like this, if we let the animals be, we would be grossly over populated and in hindsight we would all die off, so really, despite how much time I have wasted writing this, maybe I will get through to one dip stick that believes this garbage, LET IT BE! THERE IS NOT A THING WRONG WITH THE SEAL HUNT OR THE HUMANE!!! KILLING OF ANY OTHER ANIMAL, CRUEL AS IT MAY SEEM IT IS THE COLD HARD TRUTH, MAYBE YOU SHOULD FOCUS YOUR TIME ON TRYING TO STOP THE PEOPLE MURDERING HUMANS AND CHILD MOLESTORS, AND NOT TRYING TO STOP AN OBVIOUSLY OKAY AND NEEDED HUNT. feel free to email me at kodywyse@hotmail.com with any complaints you may have because I would gladly entertain you because I am positive on how right I am! I think the seal hunt is a great thing, it is environmentally friendly provides a great living and controls the seal population to a healthy level.
