The dress is made up from 7 polyethylene trash bags, 2 foot-pumps and a pair of shoes. The shoes pump air into an inflatable bubble attached to its rear section. Each step slowly inflates the garment into a chair. In other words, your butt fills with air so you can plop down anywhere.
While seated, a person’s body weight slowly deflates the chair, restoring it to its original form of a flat dress.
The concept for the Self-Sustainable chair garment is to motivate users to consistently switch between walking and sitting as ‘a loop behavior on the street’. Regulation between exercise and rest would be maintained using this distinctive suit.
The purpose of the project is to transform the boring routine of your everyday walking commute to an entertaining and pleasurable form of exercise.
I can well imagine the excuses for being late for work that this escapade could bring, snicker.

Seeing is believing lol, I suppose next they will have us all bouncing down the pavements like good little bunnies or maybe we will be allowed to stay in bed as it traverses down the highway until it’s decided enough is enough and throws you out.
I remember space hoppers, but this is really pushing it a bit and as a fashion statement it’s simply ridiculous and I’m quite sure that if anyone is foolhardy enough to use one of these then those with sharp instruments will have a field day deflating them lol

Haha, too funny Colin! I can’t imagine anyone wearing this myself. I found several other bizarre inflatable things that I’ll share in the near future as well.
