Chairs DO Grow on Trees
Yes you read that right, and it’s completely accurate, chairs DO grow on trees! At least Metro UK says so. They claim that this chair grew 3 centimeters (approx. 1 1/4 inches) while this picture was being taken.
How someone could ever fathom a concept for this procedure is beyond me, but Christopher Cattle has. Thinking inside the box, he attaches plywood frames to Sycamore or Maple saplings.
Each creation takes at least five years to grow into shape and ten minutes of Christopher Cattle’s time every three weeks to tend to the trees. He then fixes a seat on top once mature.
He comments “I thought if I could grow the trees in the right shapes, I wouldn’t have to waste energy cutting them.
Maybe people can start to think laterally and try to do things in a different way. I think an actual chair would take about eight years.
Growing furniture isn’t going to save the planet, but it can be used to demonstrate that it is possible to create genuinely useful things without adding to the pollution that industry inevitably seems to produce. Trees are self-generating, and grown wooden products need only the energy that the sun gives everywhere. It’s free and it’s non-polluting.”

I think I like Christopher’s more natural approach myself.
Now will someone please show me how to grow money from trees? (You had to know that one was coming.)
