Mind Blowing Full Body Rollerblading Rollerman
Welcome back!
Take one extreme Frenchman, a various array of body armor, 31 castor wheels attached to nearly every part of the body, and you have one Rollerman, also known as Jean-Yves Blondeau.
As a former design student, Jean-Yves Blondeau first devised his plastic Buggy Rollin’ suit as a school project in 1994 while a studying at Olivier de Serres in Paris. He says he wanted to “prove that people can roll in any position.”
After little success on the market with his invention, Blondeau was off and rolling once again with a stripped down 31 wheel adaptation and cultivated a panache variety of moves and techniques — an extreme combination of inline skating and street luge.
The suit is constructed with rollers similar to those on rollerblades at strategic positions of the body — major joints, the torso, hands, feet and the back. Rollerblading on the torso with your head nearly kissing the pavement, on all fours or nearly any position imaginable, one can attain speeds up to 60 MPH (96.5 KPH).
The Buggy Rollin’ suit allegedly retails for about $4,000 US.
The amazing Jean-Yves Blondeau has been featured on television shows in numerous countries for his extreme sport of full body rollerblading, or Buggy Rollin.

While walking on the streets of a city in China, I noticed almost everybody and everything in motion was using wheels. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, tricycles, Rickshaws, wheelburrows, wagons and even rollerblades.
It suddenly struck me funny and I said to a friend, “My God, where would mankind be without the invention of the wheel?” He pondered for a second while looking at the mass of humanity rolling by us. He simply said
“We’d be screwed” How true!

This is just too crazy for me! I lived in Colorado for a long time and there was a group who did luge on major highways (while they were still open to traffic). I think this suit will be very popular with that crowd.
