The actor’s real name is Rowan Atkinson. He’s alive and well and has a new movie out called Mr. Bean’s Holiday.
I’ve been hearing reports that it’s absolutely hilarious. Unfortunately it won’t be in the US until late August, and in Canada at the end of September.
He’s even more popular in Europe, which is why it’s likely being distibuted there first. I’ve seen clips of people following him in hordes on the streets in Europe. It’s absolutely amazing!
The sad thing is that there’s been rumors he may be retiring.

A great resource of Mr. Bean Material. I don’t see him on PBS anymore, but it’s great to find a place to see him work his magic. The guy kills me.

I adored Mr Bean, Frank
I was SO looking forward to his movie, but had to wait for months until it came to Canada. I tried to not build my hopes up too high, as one is usually disappointed when you do, and disappointed I was. All the same, it did have some great moments.
