Photography Artist Linda Walldez
Welcome back!
Lynda Walldez is an artist whose philosophy of life is to take things one day at a time. Her passions include photography, art, writing, and blogging.
Lynda expresses her philosophy in art as a form of ‘poetic photography’ by applying a dissimilar sense to her images than the mundane aspects of any given photo.
She is very passionate about photography, particularly digital. As an amateur with no formal training in photography, she has developed her skill since 2005. Lynda has set goals to create a name for herself with her artwork. Although she’d be contented to earn a living at it, it isn’t her main objective.
Lynda Walldez’s expression for art is not limited to photography — she has sketched since a child, composing in charcoal, pastels, and pencil. The artist illustrates her drawings from reference at times, but customarily from whatever her eyes perceive before her.
Lynda’s key outlet for her writing and poetry is her blog.
Artistic Statement:
Currently living in Los Angeles, CA, I also journal and write poetry.
Writing is a great passion of mine because it’s the best way I can express what is in my mind or heart with great accuracy. Something I cannot quite do verbally.
I have been journaling on and off since I was in intermediate school, and I have been blogging for over a year. I only write poetry whenever I feel intensely emotional about something. Sometimes I rhyme, other times I just want to get my feelings out there. My poetry expresses the hidden areas of myself that are rarely tapped into.
