Welcome to the first edition of the W-5…Wild Weird Wired Whimsical Wednesdays to break the monotony of Hump Day. Here are my musings of the day.

Sailing in a Connected World
Bratan writes: I have created the background (I mean sky, water and the structure on it) with Vue 5, a 3D software. Reflections of the structure on the sea are made automatically by the software. Then, with PS, I made a cutout of the man and the table, and added a planet on the screen. The text also was made with PS. To give the aspect of a sail, I applied a contraction and some torsions and perspective effects. Then, it is just a question of collage with some fusions options and corrections on lighting and contrasts. That’s it

Butt Paste?

This stuff is actually made by a pharmacist from Covington, LA (New Orleans), by the name of (you guessed it) Boudreaux. It’s similar to Johnson & Johnson’s Balmex, but with a higher percentage of zinc oxide which is good for a baby’s butt. Who knew?

Horriblecherry writes that this was done in the darkroom only. It took about 5 tries to get the ‘two of us’ in the picture and to make sure one side of the photograph wasn’t more exposed than the other half.
