Numerous artists and the works they create have sparked much controversy in recent past, be it for their contentious, discordant methods, jarring and outlandish pieces, or simply for making a statement to create awareness. One such artist, Jay Lonewolf Morales — a humble, spiritual, and colorblind painter — has garnered disquieting attention from activists for his recent conflict-ridden series which depict the greed of America, and has even received death threats from these militants.

Freedom of speech and expression is the right of every citizen in the Western world, provided that we aren’t breaking laws, or harming human or animal life, and the art world is no exception.

Life in the Fast Lane has had the opportunity to speak with Jay Lonewolf Morales in an interview regarding this divisive controversy from some of these radicals:

LFL: Jay, we had featured you here in an article nearly 2 years ago. Your artwork and spirituality has captured the hearts of countless people world-wide, and has achieved global recognition. We have kept in touch since we first published the article; the story receives many comments to this date.

So I was very surprised to learn that such a humble artist as yourself who has done so much for the less fortunate would have been receiving such a storm over your current works — to the point of receiving death threats. Please tell us how this all began, what has happened to you as a result, and why.

Jay: On October 1st 2008 there was a press release stating, “Painter Jay Lonewolf shall be unveiling a new series entitled ‘Wall Street Totems.” It is a series depicting the greed of Wall Street, CEO’s, and their elite.

Well, leading on to that day of the show, I was receiving threats from various groups. They did not want me to depict the United States as a selfish and greedy country. As if the world did not have an idea this was happening, but at what level?

Leading to the day of the show we continually received threats — phone calls saying, “if we go on with the show there will be a price to pay, and that will be the last appearance you will ever make!”

My manager and I decided to go ahead with the gallery showing. We were not going to let anyone silence or censor my work. I believe I live in a country that is free, and can say or express what I want as long as I do not break any laws. We decided to hire extra security for the show, so we brought in 5 security personnel.

The next time this happened was on the December 5th 2008 show at The Zoo Gallery. A week before the show we received phone calls, and a note placed on the wind shield stating that something will happen if we continue showing Americans as greedy. We went ahead and doubled security for the show. We had all exits covered and 4 security personnel that were personally assigned to me.

Most recently at an appearance at the museum on April 22nd 2009 there were many threats made on my life. That is were we are at this moment.

“The piece depicts the intestines and internal organs of Wall Street asphyxiating humanity, the middle class, Fannie Mae, and also shows and represents the greed of CEO’s, large corporations, poverty, high society, and Welfare. It has 42 laminated American government large bills attached which are bleeding because they have been stretched too far.”

“The painting brings reality close to home to those who would rather keep things in the closet. I also attached 3 solid silver coins to it dated 1796, 1792, and 1882, which is symbolic of ‘what would our forefathers think?’ There are also parasites eating away at the intestines to depict how the greedy eat away at this country.

“It is very textured and needs to be seen live to totally appreciate the message and feeling one gets when standing in front of her.”

LFL: Now that your series “Wall Street Totems” is out and in the public eye, do you regret creating them?

Jay: No I do not! That series is based on the greed of a President and selfishness of Wall Street, CEO’s, and corporations. It is no great secret, although some go through painstaking efforts to cover certain things up.

LFL: What has happened as a result of bringing your art into the public eye?

Jay: Where do I start? Since bringing my art to the public there have been many threats made on my life by several groups that believe we should not air our dirty laundry internationally by depicting the greed of some Americans in high places.

Some have taken it to mean that Americans are being portrayed as greedy and have taken it upon themselves to attempt to silence me permanently.

“She is a strong representation of the poverty and starvation America is suffering as a result of the greed of the very few elite in our society. There are roaches and parasites all around this piece along with written messages suggesting they shall inherit America if this does not stop.”

LFL: What type of precautions have you taken to ensure your safety?

Jay: Management has hired security for all the exhibits and gallery shows. There is substantial security staff at each exit, and 3 off-duty police officers working the shows.

LFL: Why did you choose such a touchy subject? You must have known there would be mixed emotions, and you would possibly invite controversy. Why not simply play it safe?

Jay: We live in a world where the few attempt to silence the many. That should never be! When I had the dream about that series, it was decided there and then. I paint my dreams — that is all I paint. Did I consider the consequences? I paint truth and only truth! If there is a consequence for truth, then so be it. As a society we carry two things on our shoulders — truth and lies.

Truth weighs but a feather, so it does not break our stride. However, a lie weighs ten thousand pounds, thus many have to live with the weight of their burden and sin. I walk straight and simply paint truth. If those that threaten me feel they must because they do not want Americans to suffer in the international eye and press, then they must allow for the truth to cleanse all the lies told by greedy banks, CEO’s, corporations, and even a former president.

Why bathe in lies when doing so in truth has a most pleasantly exquisite scent. If the truth shall cost me my life, then the liars shall elevate my station in life to a greater level in my death.

LFL: Tell us about a few of the pieces.

Jay: The first and mother of the series is called “Wall Street Totem.” It is a most abstract in-your-face depiction of greedy CEO’s, banks, Fannie Mae, and our former president who I feel I should not mention because he was not good enough to give light in this conversation.

It is a piece that shows the intestines of Wall Street and all the excrement it releases; a profound journey into the total and complete greed of the few affecting the many in such a highly impactive manner that it shall take many years to recover.

Another piece is called “Lady Recession,” which speaks of the hunger left behind as a result of the greed — a mother’s pain and the families’ impact on something they had nothing to do with, nonetheless, they shall have to eventually pay for in the long run.

jay_lonewolf_morales_Nessun_Dorma_wall_street_totems_8sfw
“Nessun Dorma,” of the Wall Street Totems series. Photo Frank Acosta

“Nessun Dorma expresses what would happen if New York City went broke as a result of the Wall Street greed. The opera would lose Radio City Music Hall and it shall be preformed in the Ghetto.”

LFL: Do you feel the message will get through and impact those you wish to reach out to with your message?

Jay: It already has — as you can see by the attention the work has garnered. If some are going through pain-staking effort to attempt to silence my message, it must be because it is hitting too close to home, and maybe they’re feeling somewhat of the guilt.

Whatever the reason, some feel they must threaten me. They do not realize that I am not the problem. Why kill the messenger? Listen to the message and collectively get the right people together and make them listen, because there is no way to solve a problem until we admit there is a problem.

Rather than addressing the possible solutions, simply threatening those that speak truth about the matter serves no purpose in bringing about a solution for something worse than war, the usual cause of war — “Greed.” There is where the truest enemy resides!

If my series serves only to create controversy which brings much light to this problem, then I feel that the truth has served it’s true purpose.

LFL: Do you feel that the team of security you have been forced to employ at your exhibits has affected or inhibited attendance, or the perspective of your artwork in any way?

Jay: Like all changes in life there must be an effect. In the case of the heavy security in my exhibits, I have been asked by many people why we have so much security. After a while it seems like most things — they adapt and get into the exhibit and music. There are moments when I feel the perspective may shift a bit from time to time, however, I make a painstaking effort to stay on point with my message.

“It expresses the face of someone waiting to hear the warning drums of what is about to happen, but no one sounded the warning. It is a strong reminder to all in all countries to very simply listen and pay attention to what is occurring around you, otherwise you shall be deaf to what shall occur!”

LFL: As quoted from a visitor at your last show, “The one and only issue I had and maybe it wasn’t an issue but I was uncomfortable for a little bit was all the security in the show. There was just too much security every where. What was that all about? After we got use to them we started to party for hours.”

Have you found the sentiment of this visitor to be the general reaction, or was this more of an exception?

Jay: I have found there are mixed emotions to various reactions from the public. Nonetheless, they seem to overcome their reservations and join in the festivities; however, I am not blind to their concerns, which is why we attempt to field all questions asked.

When they are told the reason for such heavy security, some visitors are excited instead of afraid, and it peaks their curiosity. Subsequently, they are more apt to view the entire exhibit so they may find out what all the cloak and dagger is all about. You might call it their need to know.

I personally do not take joy in having to take so many precautions, however, the safety of the public is paramount to me and that they have a very positive experience.

“It suggests a hard look at oneself and their values — it screams of the injustice committed each day by the greedy and that one day the Flies shall inherit the earth.”

LFL: Your paintings are very ‘textural.’ What mediums and other materials do you use in your artwork?

Jay: I use mixed medium for some; oil, latex, acrylics, melted plastic, sand glued on, coins, and acostic finishing.

LFL: Where can this exhibit be seen?

Jay: The Cummings Group is putting together the exhibit for a future date, and yes there shall be a lot of security and off-duty police on hand to ensure a good and safe viewing experience for Americans, and all their brothers and sisters from other nations that wish to view the results of lies given to a nation.

LFL: Is that collection up for sale to anyone?

Jay: Yes it is up for sale to anyone from any country. Half of the proceeds shall not go to Wall Street and the others that created this mess, but to those who this mess has affected. I believe in taking care of the poor and hungry. That has always been my quest!

No one should be allowed to go to bed hungry; let me be the only one to go without food. If by my starving it would cure world hunger, then I would gladly starve. It hurts me so much when I come across a hungry child in a world with so many resources.

LFL: You have done work in the past to help children in the arts. Could you please enlighten our audience as to what you have done, why you have done so, and what plans you might have in the future?

Jay: First I shall start with my efforts for kids in the arts. I have always been an advocate for kids learning more about the arts. Often I make appearances in schools, libraries and museums to both show kids what could be accomplished with positive thinking, and a lot of hard work and study.

The reason I do so is because someone is always waiting for someone else do it! Well, I did not want to be one of those who stood along the sidelines and waited for someone to do what we all should as adults participate in doing — i.e. educating, teaching, and helping kids experience the arts through participation and accomplishment.

We should never wait for someone else to do what is both our duty and responsibility for the youth of all countries. Imagine if one day a child is waiting to be taught and that day never comes. Then imagine that being your child and how you would feel. I never want to imagine that!

My plan for the future is to get a larger studio and take in 10 or 12 apprentices a year so I may spend quality time teaching a few who shall one day teach the many.

“Genesis,” of the Wall Street Totems series. Photo Frank Acosta

“In Genesis, the hands at the top are bleeding blood in the beginning, however, the hands at the bottom are bleeding gold, symbolizing the greed of many.”

LFL: You have also helped the homeless in the past. Could you please explain?

Jay: I have a bracelet I wear on my right wrist. It has no clasp, as it was crimped on permanently. It shall remain with me till I expire!

It is my eternal promise of humility and helping the poor. Every time I shave, wash my face, or do anything that involves my hands, I am reminded of my promise, thus I give money to the poor on an on-going basis. Every time we have a big showing where there is a lot of revenue made, my staff and I rent a truck and go out and buy sneakers, T-shirts, towels, toothbrushes, and many essentials needed to survive on the street, and go hand them out in front of homeless shelters.

We attempt to make life just a bit more comfortable for those who have had bad luck and have ended up without a home or shelter. It is important to me to make those less fortunate feel better about themselves, if but for a moment.

Many in society in all countries have forgotten those that once had parents as they did, and as they did once have dreams. I cannot tell the rich how to spend their money. I could only suggest however I could do with mine, what my heart and soul moves me to do.

“Hippie Chick is a piece which was dedicated to my friend Marsha Lamas which depicts a lady who opens many windows to humanity in her soul when she is composing poetry.”

LFL: Let Jay’s recent experience be an example and inspiration to you in the rights to freedom of speech and expression. Oppression of those who do good for others has no place in our world — stand tall, stand proud, and stand brave in your convictions. Be true unto yourself and to others along the way, and in so doing, one can move mountains.

  2. Those paintings are superb and magnificent, Deborah! I loved this type of paintings, as one painting can be interpreted in many ways…!

  3. Where is this world going to when an artist is threatened just because he speaks his god given right on canvas. I wonder what is next! Will we allow those same fanatics to silence music next and maybe even you Deborah. Where does this stop. At what point do we as a society say to all those groups of shallow minded individuals stop get a life and most importantly find another planet!

  4. Things like this should never happen but they do serve to warn us about the ignorance and lenghts some would go to,too suppress the truth.

  5. There is always a bully trying to impose themselves on others. In this case a coward or cowards who do not come out of hiding and feel they should make the life of an artist miserable. The art work has no words for it. It’s great!

  6. I love your work. It has always been a source of inspiration for me.
Never stop painting! I love you

  7. That is a shame. I hope they get caught. Keep doing the gallery thing and forget about those fools. The best of luck and the pieces art great.

  8. I love the art. Wall street totem cuts very deep. It is so sad that artist sometimes have to suffer harassment for creating the truth. It is times like this when I am so glad I live in Canada!

  9. That is so wrong! No one should have to go through that crap. Mr lonewolf rest easy because there actions will make your message louder and stronger. In their stupidity they forgot the power of the media and how it can work against them. I wish you luck my friend.

  10. Jay do not give up what you are doing. What you are standing up for is right. The freedom of speech must always be protected. If the truth bothers some that is their issue. You go!!!!!
    Love your stuff.

  11. Looks like even art is not safe from the hate groups!
I agree Hector they should be caught and maybe place a huge tattoo on their nose saying (I hate everyone) so the public shall be pre-warned about losers like that.
The art is kind of loud but maybe that is what it takes to bring a message over the top. Hope everything turns out well with Jay Lonewolf. We must ask ourselves why so much greed and when is enough—enough?
Maybe most important is that we conserve the right of freedom of speech.

  12. Forget those haters and create beauty for the world.
At the end they only have their hate to show for their sad little lives.
On the other had you have posterity and a legacy. One day I will go to the United states and attend one of your exhibits. Love from Puerto Rico.

  13. Your art is so vibrant. There is so much said in so small a space.

  14. How distressing for one’s freedom to be inhibited this way. How brave of Jay to maintain his voice.

  15. With all due respect royal creme I am not sure if that was not foolish or brave however I must admit that is something impressive. I don’t know if I as an artist would have been able to do an exhibit under those circumstances. The security along with the threats would have shaken me up. Why do we allow hate groups to attack artist? There has to be something done other wise no others will suffer when they stand up for their rights. I believe in a god given freedom of speech. May god be with you Jay Lonewolf.

  16. That is so unjust! Why should an artist be made to pay for telling the truth about something that needs to be brought out. Jay is so brave for taking that position. I think everyone should get behind him and force the truth out so that Americans should be force to deal with it. I am Canadian by birth however allot of my family live in the United States and they should be told the truth about everything and not have to try and figure it out. Jay Lonewolf I love and applaud you and your efforts.

  17. I enjoyed the story although it is troubling. The art work has such power.

  18. That is so messed up.
Why should an artist be force to go through all that because of some who have a twisted mind. As an American I believe in freedom of speech. I served my country and am a disable vet. What those fools are doing has nothing to do with Americans. Any time a group of people like that get together and attempt to stop anyone from their freedom of speech they should be introduce to all the vets who gave allot of themselves and in some cases made the ultimate sacrifice just so they may have that freedom of speech. To Jay Lonewolf I say good for you. What you do by standing by your convictions no matter what happens is show the world what a true American does when adversity has come upon them. We are proud of you Jay Lonewolf.

  19. This is something to be expected when shallow minds act against an artist without thinking things through carefully. If they had they would realize the artist has nothing to do with the problem. It is easy to threaten a humble artist that has nothing to do with Wall Street or it’s problems. Why don’t they get up the courage and go after the real deal! The people in high places that are almost untouchable. Maybe it is for that reason those cowards do not go after the real problem because they will bite back hard and they don’t want to get bit in the butt! I really appreciate the art and message jay is putting out there. May you live a long life and always put it in their FACE!!!! A real new Yorker.

  20. Me gustas mucho tu arte!

  21. I am well pleased that Mr. Acosta chose you over the media to do this expose. Now we can be of help instead of how the media strongly romances the sense of helplessness.

Ma’s last blog post..Accountability and Responsibility are finally here!

  22. That is the most screwed up thing to do to an artist. Threatening an artist! As an artist let me tell you we starve half the time for our art and to have some cowardly ghost threaten an artist is a great shame. The reason I call then a ghost is because like all cowards that crawl through our society and scream loud behind close doors, they have brought on to themselves more than they can handle. You threaten one artist you threaten us all. Let me tell you why don’t you announce yourself at the Jay Lonewolf gallery showings. I have attended my friends showing and seen the huge body builders they use for security. get in their faces instead of a humble artist. Lets see what would happen or we actually know what would happen. Those guys would have a tug of war with your cowardly bodies. It would be like pit bulls tearing you apart. Jay do not stand down for those cowards. Stand tall and do your thing because we love you that way.

  23. Really great art!

  24. When is it ever going to be safe for an artist to freely express themselves. What happen to Jay Lonewolf is not right. An artist should always be allowed to express themselves freely without threat to them of any kind. God bless the arts!

  25. Wow what a courageous thing for an artist to do and a cowardly thing for those involved. Art is just the expressions of another being interpretation and that is all. Now if it hits close to home and one feels they must do something about it I suggest they purchase the art and put it away so no one shall be affected if that is their concern. Never, never threaten an artist or what shall happen is what is happening here with world opinion. I bet you cowards never figured this would happen. I thank god for someone like Deborah who is not afraid to put it on the line for artist. That is a very selfless thing to do and god shall reward you for that! Sometime people run and do not know where to turn. Thank goodness jay Lonewolf had you Deborah. Now he has us all and we shall stand by his side and right the injustice. Up to what point do we allow hate groups to dictate what the media writes or the artist paint. LET US ALL SHOUT TO THE HEAVENS THAT “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” we the people will never be silenced by the few who think they can control our lives sitting in their homes and making others do their dirty work for them.
PLEASE I BEG YOU ALL TO SHOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  26. I read the post on Jay Lonewolf on his myspace page which directed me here. I must say W.T.F. Sorry Deborah I mean no disrespect but I am so mad about this! Who do those people think they are to threaten an artist just for expressing his creative freedom. They should thank god they live in a country where they could express what they feel. Maybe those people should be shipped to a country where they have ZERO rights. Let us see how they feel if that happened. I support Jay Lonewolf freedom of expression with all my heart.

  27. I support freedom of speech and freedom of expression for artist.

  28. Freedom of speech is important and we should all not take it for granted. One day if we continue to allow hate to rule it may be taken away from us. I applaud you Jay for taking a stand.

  29. We support freedom of speech and believe every American has that right along with everyone else in the world. Jay you stand by your convictions. We support you!

  30. Freedom of speech! That is something that should not be whispered to lightly. As an art lover I cannot see the world without art. I support art and the freedom of speech.

  31. I cannot believe this story! How could some low lives even consider doing this to an artist. Why? Why? Why? An artist creates form something onside of them that cannot stay there. To have someone or some people commit a crime like this is a great crime on the creative souls.

  32. Some art I just don’t get… And this I just didn’t get.

  33. Freedom of speech..?? Freedom of Art..?? Ok Lets Say We Get Rid Of It,
And Kill All The People That Support It, Then What Are You Going To Do When Your Child Tells You.?? Look Dad A Red Rose, Give It To Grandma.. Will You Also Kill Your Child..?? It Sounds Stupid.? 34. New York in the house! point out those cowards to me and I will give them a Brooklyn CROOklyn. Art is something you love or don’t love but threaten the artist HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  35. If we allow those animals to do that to an artist then we are no better then them. How could this happen in our society where everyone has there day in court and I guess the artist is suggesting that the rich who are guilty for this mess we are in should have their day in court. Well why don’t they have their day in court? Is it possible we will allow those very low lives to make it hard for an artist to walk the streets safe without having to look behind his back every moment. We are a better society then that! If there is a GOD then they will get caught and brought before a mean angry judge whose wife cheated on him and he feels like making an example of those spineless cowards/

  36. I thought hate groups at least try to do thing quiet. These groups must be the mother of all idiots. Imagine going after a public figure. Ya that would bring attention alright. More than they can handle! I bet those idiots are reading this under their beds and praying no one knows who they are. lol I support with my life the right to freedom of speech as far as the artist is concern I may not exactly understand his work but he sure has the right to put it out there.

  37. God Bless our freedom of speech.

  38. Jay Lonewolf is one of our brothers and has always looked out for others. We believe in his freedom of speech.

  39. More proof that ignorance exist where art and freedeom of speech is concern!

  40. I wonder how those individuals making life difficult for that artist would feel if the same were to be imposed on them. Art is free form and expression and must never be slowed down because it represents life and maybe the cataloging of it.

  41. Art should never be threaten as it is a progressive representation of our times. Hate is something that should be kept to one self otherwise no one would trust anyone. I believe in every Americans freedom of speech.

  42. toda persona tiene el derecho ,expresar lo que quiera en su arte en este pais los beteranos los dieron ese derecho y nadie en los estados unidos puede quitar ese derecho.

  43. It is a sad thing when art has to be judged on it’s message and not it’s creativity.

  44. What a delicate balancing act between art and freedom of speech. I support freedom of speech in the arts. There is nothing that compares to an open voice in the arts. Can you imagine a country where you could only express what the few want for the many.

  45. What is that hate groups major malfunction? What does the artist have to do with the screwed up job Wall Street and the other idiots did? If we are killing those that tell the truth then what are we doing with the liars? Are we cutting their heads off and sewing them back on then cutting them off again! Art is art! No matter what it depicts, it is something that the artist felt they had to express and that is a very good thing. God help us the day we all wake up and have no freedom. I humbly support the arts and freedom of speech. Great job Deborah!

  46. Give us the address to those punks and we will visit them and explain freedom of speech! Your work is righteous. Live to Ride my Brother!!!!!

  47. Everyone has the right to say or express what they feel!
Thank you Gina for setting it up for us all. The art is great.

  48. Hi Deborah, it is good to see you back again blogging, yes you are guys are like London busses, one comes and the other comes back again, Deputy Dog started reposting again last week.

I find it too disterbing, it is good that you are posting this topic, this is a very edgy blog.

I am not into shocking or grotesque art, this reminds me of Francis Bacon. This artist must be suffering inner termoil.

  50. We ride for freedom. When we here about losers trying to take freedom of speech from an American that is not something we take lightly. Ride free speak free even in art.

  51. We at Porky Gym believe in freedom of speech. We are behind Jay Lonewolf 100%. Now you O me Gina……..lol

  52. Ma, Deb, Douglas, thanks for your support, and thank you to all who have commented here. I had actually expected to receive some nasty comments by the odd ‘troll’ or activist, but have been pleasantly surprised that every single comment has been so highly positive and compassionate.

@Purvis Young, thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment. As another very prominent artist such as yourself who is based in the same area as Jay, it goes a long way, and I know that Jay will be very touched and delighted :-)

Hi Speak, and thank you :-) Being a one-man show can take its toll, and I needed to take a break. That’s wonderful to hear that Shaun at Deputy Dog has started posting again :-) I had wondered what had happened with him.

This topic is one of great concern to me, which I support whole-heartedly. As a people, we need to stand up together and speak out. Stand down and the oppressors win. I have been targeted myself with threats to be silenced for subjects that I have posted on in the past, which only served to fuel me to fight harder in making a stand ;-) When Jay had informed me of his recent troubles, I was more than happy to support him in his cause in bringing it to light.

  53. The painting are outstanding the themes however are nothing new in the art world. Artist are traditionally anti-establishment and radical—this trend goes back to antiquity. For those viewers who fall into those groups I sure the paintings are uplifting. As for me I can appreciate the art, but not the message the artist is attempting to put forth. Sorry to hear about the threats–those are not called for. Freedom of expression is vital to this country–some on the right and on the left seem to forget this.

Ron Russell’s last blog post..A Teacher Speaks Out

  54. I have been blessed in having the honor and pleasure of knowing Jay Lonewolf for the past two years, a man who touches all who come in contact with him with his wisdom, friendliness and humanitarian beliefs.
It is a total lack of respect, not only to Jay but to all Americans, when some attempt to deny an American who has fought for his country his Constitutional Right to Freedom of Expression.

  55. I have seen Jay in the gym many times. Once we sat next to one another on stationary bikes. It was a half hour of pleasure speaking with him. I cannot imagine anyone attempting to deny such a sweet man his freedom of expression. Hi Hector I am with you 100%. Shout out to all my friends that workout at Porkys Gym!!!!!

  56. Hi as a Photographer I am in search of Light, as Journalist in search of Reality, Jay definitely bring us both, the Light of Reality, What a Powerfull freedom of expression without oppression

  57. We should all treasure our freedom of speech and protect those who may be deprive of this! Shout it to the HEAVENS. Hi to my friends who work out at Porkys Gym.

  59. Very special work and message.

  60. This is too cool Laptops in the gym to comment.
I really want to say that Jay and any artist must never be denied their freedom of expression. This country was founded on our rights to say and express what we wish. I support the fight for freedom of speech.
Shout out to all my buds at Porky Gym…………………;-)

  61. I support freedom of speech! My father died fighting in Vietnam to give this to me and all Americans.

  62. His creations are brilliant made. Right, it is just bit of arts yet it deeply touches emotions. It depicts millions of meanings.

  63. What a feeling comes over me when I look at this work.

  64. It is unnerving to believe that this still goes on in our society.
When are the losers simply going to back off. Don’t they know that being free to do and express what you wish is something very special and should never be taken from anyone.

  65. What a way to spend a life. Expressing what you feel and righting the wrong. I support your freedom of speech and expression.

  66. Tu travago es importante!

  67. What a true cause! Our freedom is something that should never be taken lightly as there are few things left to believe in, in this world of so many opinions. I am happy to see someone would be willing to die for it……………………………….

  68. Lovely work and the message is old yet it speaks new hope to us all.

  69. There is nothing like speaking your mind and having a place to do it.
    Freedom of speech is sacred.

  70. This is a great rally. I totally believe in the message of freedom of speech and support Jay Lonewolf and his message.

  71. What a better way to express a message then art. Your work speaks very loud and painfully true.

  72. I pray for your safety and that your message find it’s way to the world.

  73. You take such a risk to inform us all. I stand by you with your message. I served my country as did many of my friends and brothers so others may have this privilege. Many years ago when I got back they rewarded me by spitting on my uniform and called me a baby killer. Even with all that hurt I still forgive them because I love them and my country and I know in some little way I did my share so they may have that right! So PLEASE let us support this artist in his quest to bring truth to the world. Like I he is willing to give his life for what he believes and that speaks much. If I didn’t know anything about this man. That would be all I would need to know. I stand by him to the end.

  74. First I solute you Oscar Leon. My father served in Vietnam and never came home. He was a true hero! What Jay Lonewolf is doing by taking such a risk to put out this message should be saluted. His art has a story to tell and I am happy it is telling us all. The right of freedom of speech and expression should always be preserve by us all for everyone in the world. If we do not know something is going on that is not just then how can we fix it. Thank god there are some bell ringers out there who are not afraid to ring the bell at the first sign of trouble. I thank you Jay Lonewolf and support your efforts.

  78. Love the work and want to say your message has been heard.

  79. Wow, this is what I call speaking out for a cause. let me tell you this is the way it should always be. No one should be force to hide to tell the truth. I respect the fact that Jay Lonewolf is an in your face guy! That is the way it should always be. SHOUT IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  80. freedom of speech is special and should always be protected.

  81. Excellent work! I support the message.

  82. Never give up the fight. What is right is right.

  83. What does it take for fools in this world to understand we cannot shot someone up if they are right?

  84. I cannot think of a better way to say it. Those people are crooks.

  85. Oscar leon that was very deep! I support freedom of speech as well and hope jay Lonewolf never stops. We need people to look over the shoulders of those doing us wrong. Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!

  86. talk about my generation! We have allot we have too fix but I pray freedom of speech and expression is not one of those problems. We have come to long a way to have to go backwards.

  87. Every living being on this earth deserves the right to say what they want and express what they feel if they are not hurting anyone or breaking laws.

  88. What a way to say something. I am glad that someone takes the time and risk to do something others turn a blind eye too! We should always say it loud. I support your efforts.

  89. Aaaaargggggghhhhh! Deborah, these are not artists; they’re weirdos!!!!!!!!

  90. Some of the work is strange but it really speaks.

  91. Love the work and support the message.

  92. I remember when I was a kid going to school in Brooklyn New York. My art teacher use to tell me why don’t you paint something more cheerful. I asked her were she grew up and she said in a town where everyone cared and prospered. I then told her did they care enough to let you be yourself and she said yes. Then I told my teacher if they did not try to tell you what to do and allowed you to be yourself, why are you telling me to stop painting the truth and paint pretty? I wonder who was the teacher that day? I support freedom of expression and speech. We should all forget those that wish to stop you. In the end the only thing they stop is their big mouths from running. Am I right Robin Stobbs? Who is weird now?

  93. That really looks like intestines! Jay’s work has something to say.
    Good Luck

  94. There are many ways to say it but Amanda you say it best. freedom is what it says freedom! May we never lose it.

  95. Without freedom there is no religion or it’s practice. No one is going to tell me how to feel, expression or say! That is our god given right.

  96. Even hate groups have their freedom of speech and I do not agree with them but they have the right to say what they will. However when they go so far as to threaten someone life that is where freedom endssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

  97. I have to agree with Manny except in the part about when they threaten someone. They should be CASTRATED!!!

  98. Sometimes we need one voice so the rest know something is up!
Well the voice sounded off in his art. Let us not forget this and help make a change.

  99. Nadie tiene el derecho quitarle a un artista para expresar lo que quiera despues que no esta rompiuendo ningun ley.

  100. This is all too cool! Love all the art and the message and yes, I believe in freedom of speech.

  101. I am looking forward top attending the next exhibit, Good luck to you and I believe in freedom of expression as an artist.

  102. Your work has power. I support the message very much.

  103. The work needs no explanation. The message is very clear. As an artist I support all forms of freedom of expression.

  104. What a bitter sweet message.

  105. A very sobering message! I support freedom of expression.

  106. I could never understand why some people would want to silence others from speaking the truth. Why does this society even entertain people like that in this world? I say if you choose to join the human race then you must be human! To be human you must respect the rights of everyone to freedom of expression.

  107. We must understand this great freedom before we can fight for it. It is a gift that should never be mistaken or taken with a grain of sand.

  108. estoy colgando en tuz manos Jay Lonewolf, te quiero mucho como nunca!

  109. There is a balance between freedom of speech and spreading hate. Hate is not freedom, it is taking something away from another.
The reason I do not hate I shall say in my native tongue “NO me da la gana…

  110. Never give in to the hate. Love everyone and respect their right to freedom of expression and most importantly treat everyone the way you would want your mother treated.

  111. Because I believe in everyone right to express and say what they want I can respect someone right to hate, however not to threaten an artist who has done them no harm. That is wrong in any part of the world and should be stopped.

  112. Why must people find reason to hate when there are so many more reasons to love?

  113. I know what hate is I experience it when I was young. It leaves a poor taste on humanity. Freedom of speech and expression is no reason to hate.

  114. Bringing the truth to light is what it is all about. I commend you on your courage Mr Lonewolf.

  115. Gil and Amanda bring the Message close to home. We must always respect another right to expression and speech even if we do not agree with their point of view.

  116. As a personal friend of jay Lonewolf I could openly say to the cowards who would threaten him that you will not bend his will, you will only make him stronger. He was never one to run from what is right!!!

  117. It is my experience when someone is not afraid of dying as Jay then you either listen to the message or get out of the way because when someone does not fear death then there will truly be a result.

  118. At the end of the day we have to live with one another and our statements. Why can’t peace be 1st. The problem will get fixed with the proper communication and faith.

  119. God has made thing clear for everyone. The message of the artist should serve for us to open pur eyes when others attempt to make decisions for us all.

  120. There are no words for the work. It is true to it’s message.

  121. What the F, all this because some idiots feel they can’t shut up an artist that will not shut up. The idiots should just go watch X Men the movie and call it a day.

  122. Remarkable art and I support freedom of expression.

  123. Your last show was simply amazing. I support your freedom of expression. Remember one thing hate groups do not last. They just fade into the toilet.

  124. Very nice art. Everyone should be allowed to express themselves.

  125. I really like the art. Keep the message going my friend.

  126. We should all learn to love one another and forget hate! This artist deserves the right to express what he feels.

  132. This is one of the finest art work, i even love my self in indulging in some creative work like painting and poetry. and every artistic painting conveys a deep meaning for all of us.

  133. The art is beautiful but a little difficult to stomach. It is not practice that the artists make this artwork. I really amazed and found. Specifically is that the pictures are of great dimensions.

  139. First I want to give a shout out to my buddies in PORKY”S GYM.
It’s great of you to give us access in the computer.
Jay Lonewolf is a friend and one of the coolest people I know.
I have been following his work for years. He really is a people person and understands what an artist goes through to make it in the art world.
Sometimes we sit in a cafe and talk about life. He never brings up art. It is like he is a student of life that creates art. Porky’s gym is behind you my dear friend…..

  140. Now you know the artist is talented when my girl and I can look at some of these pictures you have here and come up with many different things that the pieces can mean. We got a bit wild with it and there were some pretty crazy thoughts, but it was worth it for a half hour of great discussion just about the few pictures you have here. Thanks a bunch!

  141. I support art and the freedom of speech.

  142. Bravery comes from within, we all want to have a voice, we all want to live what feels right. As artists by our pen, whether its ballpoint or colorful oil paints, we have a message to express to those around us and for others who might somehow be crippled in expressing what they feel. Often times, I will see something, or read something, or even hear something that gets a certain message across, and at that exact time it was what I needed to see, hear, or read. It was truly what I needed to feel when certain emotions take hold of me. Through out the ages of time someone or something has been sacrificed simply because we as human beings seek truth in our own hearts. We move in a world where “freedom of expression” is invoked, yet when we do, we are banned and censored for what we feel is right. Is it right to slander others for how they have been brought up in this world? No, but somehow, some way, God WILL find a way to lead someone into the land of truth. When we arrive it is up to us to choose the right path. He can show us the way, but we MUST live the Way! So let the threats happen, if we should die for what we believe in, we need to remember, Death is not the end, but only a transition. Currently we feel achy and pains from aging, from life’s onset of oppression, but believe me, in death, as is it written by the wondrous prophets who were given the message from the Almighty, we will feel no opression and pain. But live right, enjoy the splendor of God’s Word in your heart and soul, and that path you are seeking shall come when you least expect it. I might sound a bit religious, but it really has nothing to do with religion, it has to do with acceptance and accepting the fight for humanity!

  143. I can’t believe this man had to go through this things just because he had the courage to speak up and describe the reality around him. Threats are only a way of censorship and a country like America should know better if it wants to be considered “the most liberal” country in the world. As a citizen of East Europe that has gone through a communist regime and has witnessed the downfall of it, I can only be saddened about this artist’s situation. In my country, art is still a sensible topic, but not one politician or anybody has personally threaten the artist himself.

  144. Props to porky’s gym for allowing us to use the computer.
We support Jay “RAINMAKER Lonewolf and his freedom of expression.
If someone has a problem with that look us up! We don’t hide!!!

  145. First of all let me address Benjamin,Marsha and Noelle.
You are probably not real AMERICANS because a hundred years ago we would have had Jay Lonewolf Hanging like all the others that speak against their country. he is someone that needs to be shut up PERIOD! Marsha I don’t even understand your religious rants about that fool artist putting down his country. Noelle you guys seem like you got high and descided to make crap up before you got laid! I am an AMERICAN and believe people like that Jewish APACHE INDIAN painter should be hung and then burned!
Where the hell do you get off speaking about the good old USA and wall street and expect not to pay a price. We are the STRONGEST COUNTRY in the WORLD and anyone that does not like it can just jump in the nearest hog pit and drink what they are saying.
As for The Mongols and all those other groups protecting that sick artist bring it on!

  146. Shout to my buds at porkys gym. Thanks Gina for the use of your computer. American Rebels you are one sick puppy. Where do you get off saying that crap about an artist who hasn’t done anything to you. From what I am making out in this story he is talking about the greedy people on wall street and he is not talking about Americans in general. You need to step back and take a breath and read the story again.
I got to tell you I am offended by your attitude and think you should really read the story again. It is people like you that cause wars by jumping to conclusions. I support the artist freedom of speech.

  147. American Rebels. What? Is that the only thing you could think of when you typed it in the Name box to leave a reply? How original. Your not a rebel at all. Your a coward who hides behind a generic title for yourself. And you made that plural? Are there more of you? Let them speak out, why are you so special that you must speak for your entire group (IF there is such a group)? Your other rebels must be your gofers. How sad is that? Just so you know, slavery is old news, let your gofers speak for themselves. Yeah its called Freedom of Speech.

  148. The paintings were a bit weird, still it was a work of art. That proves the freedom of expression. Though it’s weird, I admire it.

  149. Whats horrible in it? Do you mean …somthing ………..gay?

  150. Out of the box thinking, This guy needs a big pat for such novel work, such connoisseurs needs more approval and recognition apart from the controversies being raked.

  151. There should never be a question about freedom of expression. Those hate groups that feel they have to flex their muscle should come down to Porkys Gym where my buddies work out. I am sure after a conversation with a few of those huge weight lifters they will see the light.
We support Jay and freedom of speech and expression here at Porkys Gym.

  152. This guy doesn’t deserve to be vilified for art such as this. The anticapitalism is implied more than anything else, and even if more blatantly portrayed everyone is entitled to an opinion. This art is not strong enough to warrant such media attention.

  158. I went into Jay Lonewolf web site to see what this is all about.
Now I understand! He has over ten million hits on his site. That is impressive. You know when you attempt to prevent an artist from doing what comes natural you can expect an explosion like that in your face. To those hate groups who have nothing better to do with their lives I recommend you use your energy to support your family by getting a job and stop THE HATE! Life rally is much to short to use up our energy in such a negative manner. Clearly the artist is talented and not afraid!
That is something very rare in our society. Imagine someone willing to die for their art just to get their message across. One day we will all come to see that sometimes putting it all on the line for everyone is an unselfish and very caring thing to do. I support the artist with every fiber of my body.

  159. Thank you very much! this is very valuable information… long, could not find …))))

  160. My boyfriend and I attended the new exhibit at The Cummings Gallery.
There was magic in the air. Security was kinda heavy but the evening was great. The new piece Voo Doo Survivor has to be seen in person. Photographs do not do it justice. Jay Lonewolf sat and spoke to us for 15 minutes. He actually stopped what he was doing with the media to speak with us when we introduce ourselves. He didn’t just say hi and walk away. We found him to be a very caring person. When Gina asked us to go to the show we did not know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprise. 163. Lovely work and the message is old yet it speaks new hope to us all….Keep Sharing

  164. First I want to say placing a computer dedicated to viewing Jay Lonewolf art at Porky’s gym is very considerate and supportive to the artist. I took six girl friends to the exhibit. We had an enjoyable time engaging Jay Lonewolf in conversation. I am afraid we took up much to much of his time however he was so willing to answer every question. It is people skills like that which bring the artist closer and shorten the distance between the artist and understanding the message he is displaying. My sister invested in one of the paintings. it has become the center piece in her parlor. Many an interesting conversation has taken place over the true meaning of the piece. I am not even sure we know the meaning of Jay’s painting but it is such a joy giving our perception and thoughts on what we think the artist may have been trying to get across. One of my greatest passions is attempting to see through the eyes of the artist that creates a piece. It helps me have a closer relationship you might say with the artist.
Society cannot allow hate groups to attempt to prevent these creative people from speaking from their soul. They bring a fresh look and understanding about human nature. It is a sad thing when we pass judgement and commit ourselves to be judge because we did the very same thing. I support this artist for many reasons especially because he is committed to his convictions…

  165. Yesterday I ran into Jay Lonewolf at Barns and Noble. I said hi and he asked me to join him for some coffee. We spoke about many things including philosophy. There was something I had to ask him that was going around the gym. I asked him about his former assistant. There was a rumor that someone seen them kissing in a car. When I asked Jay he did not respond he only changed the subject. That lead me to believe something was there that few know about. It was wrong for me to push for answers but one thing is for sure there was something there between Cindy and Jay. A friend of mine who knows them both suspect something as well. I guess that is a secret that lives in the work of Jay Lonewolf. My sister went to Jay Gallery exhibit and asked Jay but he did not answer although she he was distracted by so many people attempting to engage him in conversation. I guess the show and security had Jay’s attention.

  166. Laura I think you should get your fact straight. I know both Cindy and Jay Lonewolf. They are friends and I have never seen that kind of behavior from either of them. They are both respectable people who use to work together. Maybe your friend who thinks they seen something was mistaken. That just does not seem possible! Please check your facts.

  167. nice article thank you for sharing

  168. Laura you should respect this article. It is about an artist and the chances he takes in doing what he does. Do not try to cheapen it by telling stories about Jay and some cheap tramp! Shout out to my friends at PORKY’S GYM.

  169. As the person in charge of security for Jay Lonewolf shows I can attest to the fact that what was written about Jay Lonewolf and Cindy is a false statement made by someone I cannot believe would be one of Jay Lonewolf friends. Jay has always been a stand up guy who could not be involved in any situation concerning Cindy. She was just his student and assistant. As for those hate groups we have your number so do what you do best NOTHING.

  170. Great art. Ill support you all the way. Goodluck!

  180. We went to the show the past month. We had a conversation with Jay Lonewolf about the torah. That man has so much knowledge of the torah and philosophy. We loved his art, but were caught between his art and knowledge of the torah.Thank you Mr Lonewolf for taking the time to speak to us, and answer our questions on the torah. We send our respect and love.

  181. Thanks a ton for this post. We are also facing from such problem where some people( artists) are misusing their freedom of expression, they are creating nude pictures of god and goddess and hurting the sentiments of millions.

  182. Wow, there is two schools of thought here. One, freedom of expression and the other the results of such freedom of expression. How does one choose? It would have to be the greater good. Mitzva! A good thing. I suspect sobce god made Adam and Eve nude and not dressed, nudity may only be considered bad depending on ones belief! Although, we are in the 20th century there are still people who have this morality kick, that suits their agenda.
I would much rather stick to freedom of expression before it is taken in a mis-direction or as some say, The Republican way!!!!!

  183. thanks for the discussion posted here. Freedom of speech and freedom of expression is necessary for an artist.

  184. I could not agree any stronger. Freedom of speech should be ever lasting, especially in art.

  185. А тебе не кажется, что тема уже приелась и обсуждается уже очень долгое вермя в народе? Пора бы уже её сменить.

  186. You must write english. Most will not understand you. You say the subject must change but you do not realize, the subject is label for this site. To effect change we must discuss it. 191. I attended one of the exhibits of Jay Lonewolf work. There are not to many words I can use to express the power of some of his larger pieces. Having gotten over a break up, of a long standing relationship. One of his pieces in the Mystic series sum it all up for me. Sometimes we have to step outside ourselves, and take a very honest look ,and see if it all makes sense. If it doesn’t then it’s a do over!

  192. They look a little too abstract for my liking. Im more into traditional art such as landscapes ect. But a very interesting read never the less.

  193. I love your work. It has always been a source of inspiration for me.
Never stop painting! I love you

  194. Very interesting to read this blog.Fine article posted here. keep posting like this.

  195. I think the art has an exotic appeal but contains deep meaning nonetheless. And may I say, this is really an intriguing post. hehe

  196. Explosive with a message, but sometimes some of the paintings leave a sad feeling. Maybe the artist was venting something that he may not have wanted to vocalize.

  197. Freedom of speech is one of the most powerful weapon a person can have. IT can save as well as ruin something or someone.
As it is called freedom, one must be very wise and careful in using it.

  201. Wow! That is amazing. Where do you come up with those figures you paint?
We are excited about going to your next show on November 13th at the Cummings gallery.

  202. Keep it up and more power to your website. I look forward for your next article.

  203. Hey… the paintings are great. Very intellectual presentation on current situation. It was one of the greatest expressions I saw ever!!

  204. With all due respect royal creme I am not sure if that was not foolish or brave however I must admit that is something impressive. I don’t know if I as an artist would have been able to do an exhibit under those circumstances. The security along with the threats would have shaken me up.

  205. I like the art piece on “Wall Street Totem”. It exactly portrays the real situation which is happening right now. Looking at it you can actually feel the message being delivered. Greed and self-interest

  206. A friend of mine at the university of Miami told me that last night someone from one of the hate groups that threatened him walked up on Jay lonewolf and shot him last night. My heart goes out to the family. Does anyone know if he survived? I love that man. He stood up for his convictions, knowing something could happen to him. Freedom of expression comes at a price , and I am proud to know that someone is willing to pay the price for those that could not in the art world. God Bless you Mr Lonewolf.

  208. I sometimes wonder about how much some paintings are charged for. they are ridiculously high.

Anyway i liked the 1st painting.

  209. My goodness, what has this world come to when we are hurting artist for expressing themselves in their art! This artist has every right to say what he feels based on how he views the world. That is what freedom of speech is based on. I pray for his family and friends that they understand that the rest of the world is not as cruel.

  210. Anytime someone does something the better us all with information, there is always going to be something that crawls out of the ground and try to hurt them. I guess they never heard of KARMA because it is coming there way! My mother was also an artist who had many lovely things to give this world but she was murdered in New york 15 years ago while attending her showing at a gallery. That is the kind of society we live in, where safety is not always guarantied when we have something to say that may effect world opinion. I guess it takes a special person with a deep soul to speak out when there is something wrong that effect many. Maybe this should serve as a wake up call for us to try and protect those that really have something to say and have no fear of saying it…

  211. I agree Angie, when will we stand up and say enough is enough? Anytime we allow hate groups to do something like that to an artist we are surrendering our collective rights. I don’t know about others but you can bet your life that I will not take something like this sitting down. When Bush was elected under a cloud many took it in stride. Now the world economy suffers while he hides out in the comfort of his home. Any time we allow crimes to impact others, we allow our turn to come and others will say you didn’t care when it happen to others, why should we care about you.

  212. The first picture is beautiful. It reminds me of suffering though.

  213. Hope! His art reminds me of simply hope…

  214. wow, that is a nice article with a few interesting aspects, thanks.

  215. There is all the time a frighten annoying to enforce themselves on others. In this type of case a coward or cowards who make not became visible of hiding and be aware of they should create the life of an artist fed-up. The art occupation has no words for it. It is really great!

  216. Nicuson, I think you are right. Some of this artist pieces are ugly but they are that way with reason. He may be attempting to express the ugliness that others bring to the world with their hate. For crying out loud this artist has had his life threatened unjustly, and his crime was just expressing his god given right to freedom of expression. I wonder if you were an artist and your mind was exploding with so much happening in the world expecially this economy, how would you express yourself, or even if someone threatened your life for simply expressing how this artist work makes you feel. I always believed in everyone god given ability to express themselves but threats are not expressions. They are warnings of what is to come. I believe this artist will one day meet a horrible fate at the hands of one of those horrible people that want to destroy that beautiful soul. That is the day when someone proves that there can never truly be freedom and it is merely a fantasy we pray for but never really exist.
I pray to god that Jay Lonewolf lives a long life and is allowed to freely express himself in this society that allows hate groups to torment an artist……….

  217. We may never know what was on the mind of the artist but one thing is for sure, there was something there that was so compelling that he felt he had to express it at all cost, and it seems it cost him in the way of threats of harm. Maybe there is no safe place for an artist to create and display. One thing is acknowledge, the message is raw and in your face! Maybe that is what is to be learned about this artist. In Germany many years ago my people were punished for just being themselves. If there is something we can take out of all of this I believe it must be that we must all get together to create a better utopia for those that want to express themselves so freely, otherwise we have not progress as much as we think we have in the last hundred years.

  218. The other day I read this article and gave it some thought for a few days. I am an artist no one knows but if I were to become known and I were to be threatened like Mr Lonewolf I have no clue how I would be able to act or function day to day. One thing is for sure I would not put on or attend a show with my work. That would be much to scary for me. What makes people do terrible things like that to an artist that only wants to express themselves. Someone would have to explain that slowly to me because I am sure I will have a hard time understanding the explanation. When an artist creates something that is their way of maybe venting what they are internalizing. Some people have very different ways to show how they feel about some things. There is nothing in this artist work that deserves such treatment. We as a people should all stomp our foot at the same time and make the world shake and say “NO MORE”.

  219. The show was epic on Nov 13th. Loved Jay’s work but something else caught my eye. There was this hot artist Estafania . Does anyone know if she is gay. She is definitely my type.

  220. The models in the exhibit were stunning. Mr Lonewolf was so cool. I will be there for the December 4th show. My mom fell in love with Jay Lonewolf lol.

  221. That’s a great design. Does he do tattoo design? If yes, I would like to hire him to make me some tattoo design.

  222. Confession! I know you do not notice me other then to say hello Jay. The reason I go to all your shows is because I have this dream of us being in love one day. This may come as a shock because I know you do not even notice me but since I first heard you play in the drum circle many months ago, I fell in love with the sensitive artist. We workout in the same gym and from time to time you say hi to me. There are moments when I wish you would just kiss me. Maybe that is my selfish hope. I have dated some but no one that can speak to me the way you do. Although we only have spiritual conversation and sometimes talk about your pieces I would like to believe those moments belong to us. You do not have a clue what you do to me when you talk to me. The reason I am making this confession is because I heard your health is dropping with each day. I never want you to leave without knowing how I feel about you and how meeting you has been one of the most meaningful experiences in my life. Your lady is very lucky. I spoke to her in the Nov show but would not reveal my true feelings. It was a strange hello because she has something I want more then life itself. If any of you have ever truly been in love you will understand and forgive me for my confession.

  223. Nice read…

  224. Very strong vibes, in a good way.

  225. I just heard in the gym that there will be a huge drum circle at The Cummings Gallery at Jay Lonewolf show. The last time they had one we dance our butts off until midnight! Hope to see you guys at the gym there.

  226. Everyone can hate and everyone can like. Because I believe everyone have the right to express and say what they want I can respect someone right to hate, but not to an artist who has done nothing except create art.

  227. I agree Jane. Life is difficult enough for an artist. Like song writers they have a message and maybe we should listen. A week ago I went to see Jay Lonewolf exhibit. There was a piece that fascinated me. It was a dark piece as it seem to come from a dream with pain. It was breath taking. It was called The Rise of the Phoenix in 2012.

  228. We are going this Friday Dec 4th to the exhibit. I was told there was going to be a huge drum circle. Those are great!

  229. Good work is always appreciated, and your really work well on all of the articles. Fantastic work, keep it up.

  230. With all due respect royal creme I am not sure if that was not foolish or brave however I must admit that is something impressive

  231. wow great work you, with the kinds of paintings that are unique and interesting ….. thank you! good work

  232. I went to the show this past Friday. The art was simply amazing and the drumming was out of this world.

  233. …….a lot of talk about how “Americans are so greedy”…….if Morales or any other artist has a problem with “greed” why does he take money for his work? How much does he make from his art and what kind of house and car does he drive? It’s a sure bet this guy profits from his art and lives well. This is a serious question that will not get answered. If he doesn’t like greed, let him stop taking money for his “product”.
.-= Mo´s last blog ..Woman Killed While Trying To Save Injured Cat =-.

  234. This is to answer Mo. You are very ignorant! If you have read up or even looked at the stories on Jay Lonewolf you would know that most of his money goes to the poor. When I went to his showing I met and spoke to him. he is a very humble guy of humble means because he chooses it this way. I spoke to some of the people that work with and they along with his daughter explained that money does not move him. He does what he does because that is his passion. he does not live in a huge comfortable home or drive an expensive car. he believes that an artist is not starving or showing deep work unless they are hurting and have a deep message inside. I you had that passion for life and humanity and helping , you may not sit in your home drinking coffee and find a way to put down someone who has dedicated himself to helping the poor and preventing animal abuse. His message is clear but yours is painfully not!!!!!

  235. Mo! You have to be kidding comparing a humble artist to the rich on wall street. They took a huge hand out from the government to give their employees bonuses. Surely when you say to Jay not take money you are speaking from your a_s! He has to eat and pay bills like you and I. Where do people like you come from? I went to school with people like you and work with people like you that believe no one can be doing something for virtually nothing. You need to stop that blog page you have and study better before opening your mouth. Writers, real writers do their homework before they open their mouth and put their foot in it. You have destroyed your credibility here. You proved that you are the type of person that would tell another I think it is going to rain without looking outside or watching the weather report. Do the WORLD a favor and just shut up and go away, otherwise do your homework before you open you mouth and share theory ie unproven tales. Have a nice day.

  236. It looks like Mo is the flavor of the day. Mo with all do respect you are dead wrong about this dude. He does what many of us wish we could do but do not have the time too. He is a goody 2 shoe. I respect that! He helps the poor. Putting that down will open a bad door. Good luck dude!

  237. I could not
believe what I read. Mo needs Mo help!
You are a sad fool picking on a humble artist. Shame on you.

  238. Leave Mo alone! He cannot help it if he is lonely and rejected from school for not being able to put two words together that make any sense.lol Mo is it going to Rain??????????? lol lol lol

  239. Every time someone does something good for others there is always someone like that “Mo” clown that think they have the right to put them down for it. You know what he does have the right to say what he wants and we have the right to tell his uniformed self to get a life or at least know what you are talking about before you open your hole and confuse everyone with your stupidity. We support you Mr Lonewolf.

  240. Great work, enjoyed the reads also.

  241. Mo, You need to think… What you do with your money do you hoard for your self or share with the less fortunate?
You have shown nothing but ignorance here.
    Dierdre

  242. very good

  243. i wish i had those
    .-= billi jon´s last blog ..60 Second Post-Processing Technique =-.

  244. Is it not sad enough that the artist receives death threats, now he has people like Mo that have nothing useful in life to do but attack an artist. I believe in my heart that Mo is one of those that sent Jay Lonewolf death threats and is cleverly trying to cover it up with insults. What other reason would he have for saying such things, when everyone can read the story and know what the artist does with his money. Mo please go see a doctor before you hurt someone.

  245. The art has many messages. It is hard to comprehend he does not see color. Maybe some see better then others the real world.

  246. The art was simply amazing and the drumming was out of this world.
    thanks for posting!

  247. I have got very informative and valuable information from this blog really i have impressed after reading it i woulld like to say thanks for sharing it to every one please keep it up
