World Record Bubble Encircles 50 Kids
Welcome back!
It took a mere few seconds for ‘bubbleologist’ Sam Heath to encase 50 children in an iridescent, glistening bubble of soap and water to set a new Guinness World Record at the Science Museum in London.

At 11 feet across and more than 5 feet high, the incredibly monstrous bubble burst the previous record of 42 bubble-bound children set in the U.S. earlier this year.

The children squeezed on a stage surrounded by a moat of soapy water, all of whom were required to be more than 5 feet tall. Sam Heath — also known as SamSam Bubbleman — dipped a metal wand hoop with a 36 foot circumference into the solution before raising it above their heads.
Heath had previously held the record in 2006, when he enveloped 19 school kids in a bubble at Chessington World of Adventures theme park in Surrey.

Guinness Book of Records Representatives were on location to judge the soapy event which was witnessed by hundreds of school kids.
The record breaker was held at the opening of the museum’s flagship interactive gallery of physics phenomena, entitled Launchpad, which features 50 live, previously-unseen interactives, devices and experiments.
‘Bubbleology’ — the science of bubbles — is far more popular and chic than you might think. There is even a National Bubbles Week that begins on the first day of spring. Master bubbleologist Fan Yang has toured Canada and the US with his staggering stage production “The Gazillion Bubbles Show,” complete with laser lighting and smoke stunts.
Fan Yang also held a previous World Record on April 12th 2006 by linking 15 pairs of people in a ‘bubble cage’ at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, California. Amongst other numerous Guinness Records was his world’s largest bubble wall of 156 feet (47.4 meters) in length at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle Washington on August 11th, 1997.

This guy got an intriguing job, the kids will like this.
I was surprised to find how popular this type of interest has Betshopboy. Fan Yang’s performace that he’s toured with looks absolutely amazing. I found a video on it, but it had just too much hype for promotions that I didn’t post it here.
